Kerry McDonald has been leading corporate training workshops and helping organizations enhance their staff development programs for over 20 years. She has worked with a variety of firms and non-profits in industries ranging from accounting and law, to biotech and manufacturing, to higher education.
Kerry holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Bowdoin College, a Master's degree in Education from Harvard University, and a certificate in Human Resource Management. She writes frequently about education trends and the impact of schooling on society and the workplace. Her articles have appeared at Forbes, Newsweek, NPR, Education Next, Natural Mother Magazine, and the Foundation for Economic Education, among others.
Kerry is the author of the forthcoming book, Unschooled: Raising Curious, Well-Educated Children Outside the Conventional Classroom (Chicago Review Press). She is based in Boston.
